The JLC adopted a new focus in June 2018 for our volunteer efforts and Community Grants program, Empowering Women Through Mentorship. As a result, we are only be able to consider grant applications that are clearly aligned with this focus. Each year, JLC aims to award 2-3 grants of up to $4,000 each to fund time limited projects that center on this theme. The ideal project will provide service or training opportunities for League members, and the project should impact the Central Virginia area.

• Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization or a school.  
• All past applicant and recipient organizations are welcome to submit an application.
• There is no limit to how many times an organization may submit an application.
